cheap motorcycle trailer
8″ trailer tire vs 12″. Which one to get?

I’m debating between 2 different trailers to tow my motorcycle. They are almost identical but one is significantly cheaper and has 8″ tires. The other has 12″ tires. The Load Capacity is 870lb on the 8″ tire and 1090 on the 12″ tire. The bike weighs 450lbs so I wont be anywhere near the capacity on the smaller tire trailer.
Is it worth it to spend the extra money on 12″? What’s the benefit? I’ll be towing the bike over faily long distances (~150 miles each way) and on the highway. I will probably only use it 5-6 times a year max.
I like the 8″ one because its cheaper and has a slightly lower deck which will make it easier to load the bike. Also, it’s lighter so it will be easier to pick up and carry…which I will have to do every time I use it since it will be stored on its side behind my garage.
Thanks for the help!

The 12″ one will ride smoother for Your Bike. If you care about your bike and don’t want to have it shaken loose while towing it down the highway get the 12″.

The 8″ rim with the smaller tire will turn faster and wear your wheel bearings out faster.

Go with the 12″ if you care about your bike.
